Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how CASA collects, uses and protects the information you share with us when you visit our websites or work with us. We've written it to be read, not decoded - in plain language, with no surprises.
It applies across everything under the CASA umbrella, so whether you first reached us through CasaTech, CasaWeb, or any service we add later, the same principles apply.
Our websites may be accessed from anywhere in the world. Wherever you're visiting from, any personal information you share is processed in line with this Privacy Policy.
Who we are
CASA is a technology concierge operating a family of services under one roof. Today that includes CasaTech, our managed technology and IT concierge service, and CasaWeb, our website design service. Additional CASA services may join over time, and this policy covers all of them.
When we say "we," "us," or "CASA" in this document, we mean CASA and its services collectively. If you'd like to reach a specific team, the contact details are in section 10.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and do good work. That usually means information you give us directly through a contact form, an email, or a conversation, such as:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The contents of any message or enquiry you send us
We may also receive basic, non-identifying information about how our websites are used - for example, which pages are visited - through analytics. We don't ask for sensitive personal information, and we'd rather you didn't send it through a web form.
How we use information
We use the information you share to:
- Reply to your enquiry and stay in touch about it
- Understand what you need and prepare a proposal or quote
- Deliver and support the services we've agreed on
- Keep our websites working well and improve them over time
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We use it to help you, and that's it.
Cookies
Our websites may use a small number of cookies. Some are essential - they help pages load and remember basic preferences, like whether you've chosen light or dark mode. Others support basic analytics, which tell us how the site is being used so we can make it better.
You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time. Turning off non-essential cookies won't stop you from using the site.
Third-party services
To run our business we rely on a few trusted third-party tools. Each has its own privacy practices, and information handled through them is subject to their policies as well as ours. These may include:
- Google Analytics - to understand how our websites are used
- Netlify - to host our websites
- Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 - for email and everyday collaboration
- Calendly - for scheduling, if and when we offer it
We choose partners who take data protection seriously, and we only share what a given service genuinely needs to function.
Data retention
We keep your information only for as long as we need it - to respond to you, to deliver a project, and to meet any legal or accounting obligations that follow. When it's no longer needed, we delete it or remove anything that could identify you.
Data protection
We take reasonable, sensible steps to keep your information safe, including using reputable providers, limiting who can access it, and protecting the accounts and tools we work with. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we treat your information with the same care we'd want for our own.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it's wrong, and to have it deleted. You can also ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose. Just get in touch and we'll help - no forms, no friction.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll always do our best to honour them.
Contact
If you have any questions about this policy or the information we hold, please reach out. We're happy to help.
Updates to this policy
As CASA grows and adds new services, we may update this policy from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of the page. We'd encourage you to check back now and then, though we'll always keep things clear and fair.
